There are two types of broiling and these are as follows:
1. Oven broiling – this is the most common way of broling ribeye steaks and all you need is to set the broil settings of your machine.
2. Pan broiling – this is where ribeye is cooked on the stovetop employing dry and high heat.
Both these techniques have different broiling lenght where the stovetop takes less time. A 1″ thick ribeye requires around 6 minutes on each side to produce the medium ribeye steak while the oven method needs around 8-10 minutes on each side.
