Eric -- I totally agree with you. I have good relationship with store pesonnel I frequently buy from. I feel treated well and whenever there's a problem they are quick to respond without the hassles.

Also about the grocery store in our place, my sister said they had to be "friendly neighborhood" store if people are going to like to buy from them. I think most people prefer stores like that.

This reminds me of going into any big box store and trying to get help. Either they do not know how to help or are busy chatting with another employee. Of course we all seem to be driven by low prices and in order to get low prices you have to deal with bad service. As an example of this I have a local hardware store that sells normal items like a lowes or home depot and it seems whenever I am in there I hear people talking about the prices being higher. But I will gladly pay the extra because they are friendly, will always help, and as a result I consider them friends.
