There are no Trials. It's either You Do it or You Don't

I saw a picture of a boy trying to do a somersault while people looking and cheering him on. The caption read: There is no such thing as tryouts. It's either you do it or you don't.

So many people are afraid to lose that whenever they engage in competitive activities they condition themselves and their friends that they are just trying things out. People would go in a defensive mode emphasizing the lack of preparation and as such no high expectations were set.

This is a loser mindset. Don't be afraid to lose. Whenever you go and participate in any competitive activities think about giving everything you got and aim to win. It doesn't matter if you fail because all that matters is you went all out for the win.
