I have seen so many established businesses and companies spending a lot of money putting up billboards, ads or giving away business cards with their web page and email addresses on it. Sadly, their web page and emails are hosted on free sites like Geocities, Gail, Yahoo, etc.

I have nothing against using free services; but when you’re an established business or company, it doesn’t make sense and I would seriously doubt whether you know what security, branding, service level of agreements, etc. is all about.

Millions of people can even afford to buy their own personal domain name; so why can’t businesses earning millions every month? After all its peanuts!
