Why Did the Oldest Paper Took So Long to Revolutionize?
You can’t teach old dogs new tricks. The world’s oldest newspaper which was founded in 1645 only went digital this year—January 1, 2007.
The paper’s chief editor, Hans Holm says: We think it’s a cultural disaster, It is sad when you have worked with it for so long and it has been around for so long.

Gloria over at Cancer Commentary is solicting cancer stories (found here) as she was inspired by Melissa Petri’s post When a Parent is Terminally Ill.
I feel sad how science and technology hasn’t come close to finding a solution to this problem. I don’t think scientists can’t do it, I just feel there isn’t much interest to finding a cure for it.

My sister doesn’t eat pork because she thinks it is dirty compared to beef. I told her about an article I read that cows today can produce 50 times more milk in a day than it used to because of the advancements of genetics and technology. I would joke at my sister that at least technologists wouldn’t spend time re-engineering pigs than they do with cows (I don’t know of any side effects it has on cows and those that consume them).

I went to the local drugstore this evening and I immediately noticed they pasted a lot of paper bills on the glass medicine storage where your orders are taken. I was told before Chinese did that for good fortune.
With due respect to their beliefs, I don’t believe these things contribute to a business’ success; but I do believe they give customers the impression they are greedy and only care about the money. They sell drugs to cure people so they should put things which give the impression that they care.
