Why I wouldn’t Work for DBSoft

I have worked in a number of companies that make you sign contracts which doesn’t allow you to work for a competitor two years after you have left them; never had I seen them go after employees if they do work for a competitor.

I am so grateful to my past employers for allowing me and everyone else to work for direct competitors even if our contracts prohibited us from doing so.

They would argue that they wanted the best future for us and as a sign of our gratitude we would always tell stories and recommend fine employees to work for them. Sometimes, people go back and work for them knowing the kind of company they are.

Marks & Spencer’s CEO Stuart Rose is Britain’s Most Admired Businessman

Stuart Rose Marks & Spencer's CEO Congratulations to Stuart Rose for winning World Leadership Forum’s Business Leader of the Year Award.

The non-profit organization chose Stuart from among 1,000 medium-large British businesses for his successful leadership at Marks and Spencer. He began his CEO career at Marks in May 2004 and has helped the company through six successive quarter of growth.

Marks’ annual profit is expected to finish in the tune of £1bn.

I agree with Mark that personal brand of good professional reputation is key to success. He contends that a lot of people don’t spend time to nurture their brand.

Yahoo has written about today’s meaning of a secure password given the modern techniques and technologies used by hackers. As he pointed out, passwords which are as complex as pigl3t9! where letters are changed to numbers and single symbols are included, are easily cracked by present hackers.

Wow, that definitely says something about the current opportunity of hackers wherein the general population creates passwords that are easily hacked.

In Rockwell Power Plant (Commercial Center in the Philippines) you would be able to find a different target market of Dunkin Donuts which caters to the high end consumers.

When I first saw their store a year ago I was surprised to see large Donuts that cost 3 times the normal ones I have known for more than ten years. I quickly asked their staff a few questions while I was purchasing donuts; I learned it was the first of its type and that they were the only location that sold high end Dunkin donuts.
