Respect Personal Leave of Employees

I saw a clip of Mission Impossible II last night and Hunt said his trip wouldn’t be a holiday if he told his superiors where he was headed. That is so true. I have worked with managers from another company who would require me to explain what I was going to do and where I was going every time I filed for personal leave.

Spend Your Holiday Bonus Wisely

A couple were proud to show me their new expensive celfone which they bought using all their 13th month pay and charge the rest to their credit card. It was definitely none of my business how they spend their money but knowing they are living on debt makes me think they could use their holiday bonus wiser than buying new phones especially when they are already using expensive phones that are just a year old.

Project Management during Holiday Season

I have written the 7-Hour Rule of Project Management which says that project managers should only allocate 7 hours a day in their timeline since realistically employees are not productive for 8 hours.

Put the Guns Away Far from McDonald Stores

I went to McDonalds Paseo Center friday morning to have a good breakfast after a long week of work; but as it turned out, I was disappointed with the experience. I don’t normally eat at McDonalds for breakfast except on that day since it was the closest food chain in the area I was roaming around with before heading to work.
